Frequently Asked Questions
Your general dentist may refer you to us when you need complex restorations such as dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, dentures, bridges, or when multiple teeth are missing or severely damaged. Prosthodontists have 3 additional years of specialized training beyond dental school specifically for these advanced cases.
No — you can directly download and fill up our form from the pdf file or contact us directly for further questions. While many patients are referred by their general dentist, we welcome self-referrals too. If you are concerned about missing teeth, failing restorations, dentures, implants, or your smile's appearance, feel free to book a consultation directly with us.
A prosthodontist is best suited when you have multiple missing teeth, need implant-supported restorations, require a full-mouth makeover, have complex bite or jaw issues, wear or need dentures/partial dentures, or when previous dental work has failed repeatedly. For routine fillings or cleanings, your general dentist is the right first step.
Absolutely. We work closely with your general dentist, periodontist, and other specialists to ensure seamless, coordinated care. After your treatment, we share detailed notes and a follow-up plan with your referring dentist so your ongoing dental care remains consistent and well-managed.
We provide a comprehensive range of treatments including dental implants (single, multiple, and full-arch), crowns and bridges, complete and partial dentures, implant-supported dentures, veneers, full-mouth rehabilitation, and smile design. Whether you've lost one tooth or all of them, we have a solution tailored to you.
Treatment duration varies by complexity. A single crown may take 2–3 appointments over 2–3 weeks. Dental implants typically take 3–6 months as the implant needs to fuse with the bone. Full-mouth rehabilitation can span several months. During your first consultation, we will create a clear timeline so you know exactly what to expect.
Most prosthodontic procedures are performed under local anesthesia, making them comfortable and virtually pain-free during treatment. Some mild soreness or sensitivity is normal after procedures, which usually resolves within a few days. We prioritize your comfort throughout and will walk you through every step before we begin.
Most restorations — implants, crowns, bridges, dentures — last many years with proper care. Brush twice daily, floss or use interdental brushes, and attend regular check-ups with both us and your general dentist. Avoid biting hard objects, and if you grind your teeth at night, a night guard is recommended. We provide personalized aftercare guidance after every procedure.
